What if we slow down??

The Sufi poet Rumi reminds us:
"The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear."

December carries with her the call to slow down, to reflect, and to listen deeply. What if, despite all the demands of the holiday season, we take the time to step away from our busy-ness and listen to the call of our hearts?

  • What if, the quieter we become, the more we are able to identify the daily actions that bring us joy and peace?
  • What if, the quieter we become, the easier it is to listen to our body, mind and spirit and free it from stress, anxiety and dis-ease?
  • What if, the quieter we become, the more we are able to tap into the truth of our being and relax into being authentically who we are?

The silence brings clarity.  It holds within it an expanded capacity for understanding, empathy, and love.

This week, for "What If Wednesday," I invite you to join me for a time of deep listening and re-centering. Imagine the beauty of bringing mindfulness to our experience of the sacred this season.

What would you hear today if you took a few moments to simply slow down?

What if you close your eyes, take a few deep breaths, and give it a try?

Wishing you profound happyiness for the holy-days...

Namaste,

“Do you know what you are?
You are a manuscript of a divine letter.
You are a mirror reflecting a noble face.
This universe is not outside of you.
Look inside yourself;
everything that you want,
you are already that.”
